OUR MISSION

Community Animal Action Project hopes to create a better world for animals through kindness and giving. Even the smallest acts of kindness count, and that’s what we live by- we all work together to share what we have and help animals to make their life just a little bit better.

OUR WORK

Our mission is to create a compassionate community where animals are valued and protected. We work to educate the public on animal welfare issues, make spay and neuter services accessible, and serve as a trusted resource in identifying and reporting cruelty. We help homeless animals find loving families and encourage collaboration among community members to build a kinder, more humane future for all.

OUR FOUNDERS

April Grolley
has always believed that every animal deserves safety, care, and dignity. Growing up surrounded by animals, she witnessed firsthand the challenges many face when abandoned or neglected. Driven by compassion, she co-founded the organization to create a haven where rescued animals could heal, thrive, and find loving homes. Her vision continues to guide the mission of building a more humane and respectful world for all living beings.
Linda J. Nadeau
Linda's journey into animal rescue began while volunteering at local shelters, where she saw the urgent need for safe spaces and advocacy. With a background in community outreach, she brings both passion and experience to the organization. Dedicated to promoting wellness, education, and compassionate living, David works tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the care they deserve, while inspiring people to take part in building a kinder future.
Our entire community adores animals and works together to move this organization forward with a vision of reducing the number of animal starvation incidents within New York. Our goal is to donate 100,000 lbs of pet food by 2026.
